About the author

Miriam Tocino is the creator of Adventures in the Binary World. A mother, writer, and woman in tech, this project was born when she felt she lacked the tools to guide her son through the digital world; not the kind of tools you install, but the kind you build: conversations, stories, and questions.
The episodes of Zerus and Ona come from real situations at home, from those moments when you need a better way to talk to your children about something important. There are no rules or prohibitions. Just stories that open doors to talk with them about what truly matters.
An architect by training, Miriam learned to code when she discovered that technology could also be creative. She taught hundreds of people to do the same and now leads teams in tech companies, designing systems that align people and purpose.
It is this blend of architecture, technology, and education that gives shape to Adventures in the Binary World.
